Simed 2023 has launched the “II Open Call for PropTech Startups” in which national and international startups have the opportunity to present their initiatives to the investment ecosystem, experts and heads of innovation areas in the real estate sector.

SIMED has positioned itself as the main meeting of the sector in southern Spain. One of the keys to its success lies in the combination of 3 fundamental sectorial pillars: real estate supply, sustainable construction and PropTech.

The winning startup in Simed’s ‘II Open Call for Proptech Start-ups’ was CoCircular for its waste management technology applied to construction companies, developers and real estate funds, among others.

Who can participate?

Emerging companies in the real estate sector, with a maximum age of 5 years, that are seeking investment and have completed the form and have not previously received the award.

Schedule for submitting of proposals

Submission of applications: from 7^th June 2023 until 21^th September 2023 at 11:59 pm
Evaluation: from 25^th September 2023 to 6^th October 2023
Online submission to the evaluation committee: 11^th October 2023
Notification of selected proposals: from 16^th October 2023
Deadline for confirming participation in the event: before 20^th October 2023
The presentations, final voting and award ceremony will take place as part of the events planned for the event.
